Description & Tasting Notes A unique semi-hard cheese made with whole, pasteurised buffalo milk. The flavour is rich, thanks to the buffalo milk – sweet and savoury at once with notes of cultured butter, aromatic herbs and a subtle umami note on the end palate. The texture is compact, slightly grainy and has small, regular holes. From the Barlotti Agricultural Company – a dedicated buffalo dairy and cheesery based within the Cilento national park, declared a world heritage site by UNESCO.Other Notes & Serving Suggestions A great all-rounder to serve with antipasti or on a cheese platter as a non-cow option, accompany with rosemary crispbread, mustard fruits or chestnut honey.
