Description & Tasting Notes This cheese is the result of a collaboration between Fromi’s Master Cheesemaker and the Fromagerie Moléson. Cremeux des Alps (‘Cream of the Alps’) is made exclusively with raw milk from cows grazing on the mountain pastures around Mount Moléson in the Pre-Alps of Fribourg, which peaks at an altitude of 2002 metres and it’s named for the extra cream that is added to the fresh milk before cheese-making. This unique recipe creates a deliciously smooth, condensed texture and a long, complex character with notes of cream, roasted nuts and mountain herbs. Matured for a minimum of 5 months.Other Notes & Serving Suggestions This is a great cheese for those who like a full flavour and a smooth, even texture that isn’t dry or crumbly – serve on platters with honey, fruit jams and seeded crackers or bread.
