This wine receives its name in obvious reference to the lands historically known as "Greater Greece" during the 8th century when many Greeks populated the lands of Sicily and Southern Italy. In the glass, this wine has a very deep, intense ruby red colour with purple reflections, and presents aromas of dried plum and rhubarb with blood orange and hints of violet. In the mouth there is a predominance of structure a body, pleasantly soft initially then very complex with a remarkable freshness and a light sapid mark that perfectly balances the alcoholic softness. Dynamic and vibrant, showcasing elegance, refinement, smoothness, balance and velvety tannins. Marasia is a red wine made from grapes of pure Malvasia nera.
