A Valdobbiadene DOCG made from selected grapes grown in Andreola’s historic vineyards: four hectares of steep slopes at an elevation between 170-350m, in the heart of the Rive di Col San Martino denomination. The complexity of this generous Extra Brut is given by uniquely enriched soil deriving from flooding of the local Bianco stream just under 10,000 years ago. Deep straw yellow, luminous and crystalline, the perlage is vivacious and copious, with a creamy froth. The nose is intense, featuring hawthorn blossoms and citrus fruit, apples and peaches. The well-defined flavour is distinguished by balanced sapidity and unusually fine fruity hints, qualities drawn from the soil and ideal exposure. A versatile all-rounder.
