Taurasi DOCG is made from 100% Aglianico grapes, harvested by hand and carefully processed. After pressing, the must is placed in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, undergoing skin maturation for 15 days. Malolactic fermentation occurs in barriques, enhancing the wine with a creamy, smoother taste and boosting its complexity and richness. Best served at 18°C, it pairs exceptionally well with pasta dishes featuring full-bodied sauces, steak, game such as wild deer and boar, and long-aged cheeses.
