This particular knife the MTH-80 has been a bit of a legend with being at the top of  the” Best chef knife” charts for many years.With 2.0 blades basically and fine tapers and tips are why these knives are so highly regarded by us and just proud to have them included in our range..Mac just have it right with their swept back handles away from the cutting board and rocking motion style grinds in their blades.The MTH80 AND MSK65 along with other knives in this Professional series range(undisclosed by Mac)have a splash of Tungsten and are ice hardened for better edge retention.This retention was felt in the MCK-105-D and the MSB-105 also by Ogg Sharpening.The bolster along with the resin pakkawood handle attached to this 60 Rockwell C Granton edge blade gives this knife some real tikka.The Tungsten and the temper in this blade along with its overall chemistry is giving this MTH-80 some real high end retention passing many knives and is about Five times that of  Butcher grade knives .Our edge on this blade is incredible  and just makes you want to play with the food in prep times.Just precision to look at ,balanced to hold and cuts on another level.With the original series and now the Professional series here at Ogg Sharpening we are one happy MAC stockist.Yes this is a online store but 0427343197 if you wish to chat more, Cheers Justin Specifications.
